Catholic Young Adult Soccer (CYAS) is a co-ed recreational soccer league that brings young adults (ages 18-35) in the Detroit Metro area together for friendly competition and Christian fellowship. The league plays on the outdoor turf field at Bishop Foley High School in Madison Heights on Saturday mornings beginning in June and ending with a tournament in August. Individuals register in April and May and league leadership forms them into balanced teams. League leadership assigns team captains and players call their own fouls, with team captains having final say. CYAS was founded in 2006 and sells out every year at around 170 players and 12 teams.
